Become an Aquarium Volunteer!

Maui Ocean Center’s Volunteer Program provides an opportunity for marine enthusiasts to learn more about Hawaii’s unique underwater world, and to share their passion with visitors. Volunteers share their time, meet people with similar interests, and assist others in appreciating the unique qualities and valuable education the Ocean Center has to offer. If you want to learn new skills or share those you already have, you are encouraged to come and join us.

Volunteers must meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have been a Maui resident for the last 6 months
• Must be a full-time resident of Maui
• Must have a naturalist certification or similar training
• Must make at least a 1 year commitment to Maui Ocean Center

We review applications and interview applicants several times a year.
