FULL-TIME EXHIBIT VISITOR EXPERIENCE SPECIALIST

Responsible for design, layout, cost estimates, construction and upkeep of exhibits and displays. Evaluates displays to determine effectiveness and identifies potential areas for improvement to ensure display objectives are met. Requires an associate’s degree or two years of experience in the field or in a related area.

PART-TIME PHOTOGRAPHY POSITIONS
Maui Ocean Center is seeking employees for various photography positions. Ideal candidates should be able to work flexible hours throughout the day and occasional evening including weekends. Photographers with a solid understanding of camera functions, lighting and composition is preferred but will train, if necessary. Ability to work efficiently in a flexible and constantly changing work environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Establish and maintain productive relationships with other employees and effectively work as a team, as well as independently to perform all job requirements specified. Internships

Maui Ocean Center offers 6 academic internship positions annually and internships may begin at any point in the year. Students who can complete a minimum of 75 hours are preferred but hours are negotiable, based on the requirements of the student’s academic program. Applications are accepted throughout the year but are reviewed each November for placement during the following year. Interns are not provided with any stipend.
