Turtle-rrific Tuesdays

August 15 | September 5 & 19 | 2pm

On the first and third Tuesday of the month, visit Nursery Bay to meet the Hawaiian green sea turtles and the team that cares for them. During the turtles’ routine check-up, you’ll be able to:

  • See the turtles up-close
  • Learn about sea turtle biology, diet, and behavior
  • Speak with the aquarists and veterinarian Dr. Paul McCurdy

Turtle Explore Station

Sundays & Tuesdays | 11:30am-2:30pm

Did you know that of the seven sea turtle species, five can be found in Hawaii? Visit the Turtle Explore Stations to learn about Hawaii’s sea turtles with a marine naturalist. Station includes:

  • Sea turtle replicas and skeletal models
  • Display of sea turtle diet
  • Information about sea turtle anatomy, behavior, and more
