Maui Ocean Center’s 100% certified sustainable Seascape Restaurant will offer a variety of drink and appetizer specials during Happy Hour, which returns Monday, Nov. 21.
Happy Hour features $6 Mai Tais and $5 draft beers along with discounted pupus (appetizers). Lunch is served at Seascape daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by Happy Hour from 3 to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 3 to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Reservations are recommended for lunch but are not needed for Happy Hour.
“Seascape’s Happy Hour has always been the happiest of all hours for kamaʻāina and visitors alike,” says James Morrison, Food and Beverage Director at Maui Ocean Center. “Our dining room overlooking Māʻalaea Harbor is perfectly situated. Sit back and relax while sipping a cocktail or viewing frolicking whales.”
Those dining at Seascape for lunch will also notice an updated menu, including new appetizers and a daily local plate lunch — an island staple that highlights cuisine from the many cultures that live in Hawai’i.
Additionally, award-winning Executive Chef Henry Tariga has created locally sourced holiday menus for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Celebrate the holiday season while also supporting Maui’s farmers, fisherman and ranchers.
A 4-course prix fixe Thanksgiving meal will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 24. Enjoy a feast of Lobster Dumplings with Kaffir Lime Sauce, Lobster Bisque or House Crafted Caesar Salad, and Fresh Baked Pumpkin Pie with pumpkin-infused mascarpone whipped cream topping. For an entrée, choose from the Fresh Catch of the Day, Herb Roasted Turkey with Smoked Pork Stuffing or Turkey Tail with Fish Lau Lau.
Seascape will also feature a special Christmas menu along with extended hours from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Christmas Day (Sunday, Dec. 25). The starter for that meal will be Coconut Crusted Skewered Kauai Shrimp followed by a salad and either the Fresh Catch of the Day or Garlic and Herb Roasted Prime Rib. For dessert, enjoy a decadent chocolate ganache placed over Tahitian nut crust with fresh fruit coulis and berries.
Each holiday meal costs $59.95 per person (tax and gratuity not included). Visit www.mauioceancenter.com/dine to reserve your spot as reservations are required.
