Free Evening Event Featuring A Panel Discussion on Wai and Kai Topics
Kauhulu Cultural Talk
Thursday, October 24, 2019
Join Maui Ocean Center and Kanu Ka ʻIke for the debut of a new cultural talking series, Kauhulu. Like fish schooling toward the surface, let us collectively gather in a space that fosters aboriginal brilliance. This free event focuses on Hawaiian culture with two educational panel discussions lead by guest speakers on Wai (freshwater) and Kai (saltwater) topics. Help us launch this program with an evening filled with mele (music) and mea‘ai pono (light healthy foods).
Kauhulu will take place exclusively in Maui Ocean Center’s Sphere with limited tickets available. Aquarium exhibits will be closed this evening.
