We’re delighted to welcome students and teachers to our world-class, award-winning Aquarium of Hawai`i; where our expert team fosters understanding, wonder, and respect for Hawai`i’s marine life. Maui Ocean Center offers unparalleled learning opportunities for students of all ages. Our interactive exhibits spark kids’ curiosity and foster connections with the charismatic marine animals that inhabit the surrounding waters.
Rich educational opportunities abound at Maui Ocean Center for all students, kindergarten through 12th grade. Experiential learning is imperative to understanding, offering the opportunity for students to encounter, explore and engage with relevant in-class content, in what might be the closest to an authentic setting.
By providing year round access to schools, we connect students to real-world experiences; encouraging curiosity and critical thinking skills. Our multisensory learning experiences bring one dimensional lessons to life, creating enthusiasm for our oceans and its inhabitants.
