Maui Ocean Center is looking for a talented Multimedia Marketing Specialist to plan, create, and edit promotional video materials for outreach, archival, and in-park messaging. You will be responsible for delivering unique, concise, and engaging long and short-format videos, photos and motion graphics for various platforms—the company website, YouTube, Instagram, and the Social Media du Jour. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that the videos look professional and accurately present our brand and align with our mission of community, culture, and conservation.

In this role, you will be expected to take the lead on the production of video content for promotion, events, social media campaigns, and dynamic digital signage.

As a Multimedia Marketing Specialist at Maui Ocean Center, you’ll also be expected to optimize and organize all multimedia marketing assets to ensure the video content reaches wide audiences and generates brand advocacy, increased visitation, and community goodwill.

Video Marketing Specialist Responsibilities

  • Work under the Marketing Director along with our Graphic Designer and Communications Manager to develop cohesive brand messaging and script writing.
  • Continually post and refresh content to website. Develop landing pages when appropriate for events and promotions.
  • Create a stable of digital video assets for media outreach and partnerships.
  • Organize all new and existing digital assets in a comprehensive system for easy retrieval
  • Promote the brand by creating, editing, and posting engaging video content on multiple platforms, such as YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Handle video production tasks, such as setting up video session lighting, audio mixing, and sound enhancements
  • Ensure proper tagging, description, classification, and captioning of all video content
  • Optimize videos for SEO to drive traffic and track relevant analytics data to gauge the performance of each video/video series
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest video production trends and video marketing best practices
  • Help update/create dynamic In-Park, digital signage, using video and Motion Graphics


Video Marketing Specialist Requirements

  • Experience in Video Production, Digital Marketing, or a similar field
  • Motion Graphics (preferably After Effects or equivalent)
  • The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong knowledge of video shooting and editing and different filming styles and techniques
  • Experience with handling video production equipment
  • Familiarity with using multimedia assets in digital marketing
  • Expertise in video filming and editing software, such as Adobe Creative Cloud programs, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with WordPress for web updates preferred.
