An amazing experience while visiting this island one of Hawaii most visited islands! This ocean center is a must visit! You’ll be so glad you did! Plenty of shops and the 3D blue whale theatre is a must see! What a paradise on earth is this entire island!

The IMAX whale movie is awesome.

My wife and I decided to swap our usual beach lounging for some indoor-outdoor education at the Maui Ocean Center, and honestly, it was an absolute blast. The highlight was the underwater glass tunnel. There is nothing quite like walking under a massive manta ray while your spouse whispers, "That’s what you look like when you crawl out of bed." The native Hawaiian fish were beautiful, but the true test of our marriage came during the Humpback Whale 3D sphere experience. The visuals are so immersive that when a life-sized whale swam directly at my face, I may or may not have used my wife as a human shield. We wrapped up the day at the turtle lagoon. I tried to impress my significant other by pronouncing Humuhumunukunukuapua'a but lost it on the third "nuku." Overall, the place is a brilliant, incredibly clean aquarium. 10/10 would go back to let a sea turtle judge my life choices again.
