Got the behind the scenes tour which was quick, but very informative. Tour guide was very passionate and friendly. Took some awesome pictures. Went to the gift shop with my wife and 2 children. We were all searching for souvenirs for probably 15 minutes. Tons of neat trinkets. I had a couple of shark tooth necklaces and magnets in my hands, and I went to check out the coffee mugs and I noticed the cashier following us around, pretending she needed to refold all the shirts or rearrange items while making a lot of eye contact. I get that people steal and the employees are instructed to keep vigilant, but she was being blatantly disrespectful with how she was following my family and I around. If my kids didn’t want the necklaces, I would have just left them on the floor. Instead, I purchased a significant dollar amount worth of souvenirs, and left feeling like I was being looked at as a low life. I’d go back to visit the aquarium, but I’d never go back to the gift shop.
