It's very expensive relative to other aquariums I've been to. It's nothing amazing, but my fam and I had a good visit. We got the shaved ice from UluLani and that was the highlight.

This cute free attraction should be a required stop for all tourists about how to better stewards of the ocean. The exhibits are great and I learned a lot about whales. Donate if you can!

Its just ok to me. Being from mainland, I do like how some exhibits our outdoors before making the way inside and seeing the tunnel. However, being right on the ocean and for the price I honestly expected more. I often visit the Baltimore Aquarium, and its much larger has a great layout and more touch friendly areas. I also visited the Aquarium in New Orleans which also includes a large insect exhibit which bug lovers would love. Both of these Aquariums are larger with much more to see for a smaller price. Now I understand that everything in Hawaii is often more expensive, but given the size of this aquarium I would expect it to, at least, meet the price of the mainland aquariums that are much larger.
